Item No. 161039

Ingredients

  • baking spray
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 (12-oz.) jar Stonewall Kitchen Chocolate Pecan Caramel Sauce
  • 1 cup pecan halves, chopped
  • flaky sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9-inch square baking pan with baking spray, line it with parchment paper leaving at least a 1-inch overhang, and spray again.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and baking soda. Add the butter and vanilla and combine.
  3. Press half of the mixture in an even layer in the prepared pan. Bake until just set, about 10 minutes.
  4. Heat the caramel sauce gently until pourable.
  5. Sprinkle the crust with the pecans. Pour the caramel in as even a layer as possible. Crumble the remaining oat mixture evenly over top.
  6. Bake until lightly golden, about 20 minutes.
  7. Allow the bars to cool completely, at least 1 hour. Slice into squares or bars and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
