Place beans in a steamer basket over ½ cup water in a medium sauce pan. Cover, bring water to a simmer, and cook for 5-10 minutes or to desired crispness.
Alternatively, place green beans in a microwave-safe bowl with 2-3 tablespoons butter. Cover with a plate, and microwave 5-7 minutes or to desired crispness.
After steaming, combine butter and seasoning and drizzle over green beans. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and gently toss to coat.
