1+ cup crispy fried onions (Store-bought works well! We like French's)
Directions
Add salt to a medium pot of water. Bring to a rolling boil. Add cleaned green beans and boil until just tender - approximately 5 minutes. Remove beans to a bowl filled with water and ice to stop cooking and keep beans bright green. Set aside.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons butter over medium high heat. Once melted, add onion and sauté until golden brown and beginning to char 6-10 minutes. While onions cook, drain beans.
When onions are well browned, add 2 more tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons seasoning. Stir constantly for 1 minute to combine with melted butter and onions.
Add drained green beans to skillet and toss well to coat with seasoned onion mixture. Sauté 2-3 more minutes, tossing regularly, or to desired tenderness.
Remove to a serving dish and top with crispy fried onions. Serve immediately or cover with foil and keep warm in a 250°F oven until ready to serve.
